MAKE HEALTH A HABIT

Today’s theme is about feeling good, mostly generally I feel good but there are times that I don’t feel good and I really want to be more consistent on tying to live a healthier lifestyle. Motivation is what gets you started habit is what keeps you going. I wanna change the things I’m doing right now like going to the gym, eating better, sleeping earlier I want to make it a habit! We’re now in spring, spring clean your body and your mind and challenge yourself.

They say that the person who has the most power over how we feel is ourselves so I like to take control!

First things first, I don’t workout to lose weight, I workout because it makes me feel good! A study shows that no matter what shape your body is, if you workout you will feel better. When we workout our body releases endorphins and it makes us feel good, happy, fit and comfortable.

I’m more about creating a habit without restrictions, I used to think that I have to restrict myself from eating gluten, dairy, and meat. Restriction yourself doesn’t work long term because often what you’ll do is restrict yourself then go on a binge! Restriction doesn’t work for your health or for your happiness, I think it is actually a very negative thing and you become anxious about the food you eat and I think you should be enjoying the food you eat because it is one of the pleasures in life. So my goal is to have a habit without restriction! Generally I eat very healthily because I like healthy food, it makes me feel good about myself, I’m more positive, I have more energy, and generally, I’m in a good mood.

Feeling good is not just about eating well and working out, it is also about your thinking. I really transformed my life by realizing that happiness and feeling good about myself has nothing to do with my weight and everything to do with what’s in our mind and how we think, whether we think positively or have body confidence or we’re mentally healthy. It is really important to take some time for yourself, do some meditation, reading or listening to music, whatever that makes you feel calmer.

We all deserve to live a healthy and happy lifestyle and strive to be the best version of ourselves!
